Meet the 36 semi finalists of Serbia’s national final!

Serbian national broadcaster RTS has just published the names and songtitles of the 36 acts who are going to be competing in the 2022 national selection. A total of 36 acts have been selected (the highest number of entries ever in a Serbian national final), and they will be competing over two semi finals and a Grand Final from the 3rd-5th of March in a re-branded festival called “Pesma za Evroviziju 22”, to win the Serbian ticket to Turin.

The 36 acts are as follows:

  1. Naiva – Skidam
  2. Biber – Dve godine i šes’ dana
  3. Marija Mirković – Požuri, požuri
  4. Gift – Haos
  5. Boris Subotić – Vrati mi
  6. Marko Nikolić – Dođi da te volim
  7. Vasco – Znaš li
  8. Bane Lalić & MVP – Tu gde je ljubav tu ne postoji mrak
  9. Ivana Vladović & Jovana Stanimirović – Prijaće ti
  10. Marija Mikić – Ljubav me inspiriše
  11. Julija – Brižna
  12. Angellina – Origami
  13. VIS Limunada – Pesma ljubavi
  14. Aca Lukas – Oskar
  15. Igor Simić – Nisam ja
  16. Goca Tržan – Fitilj
  17. Sanja Bogosavljević – Priđi mi
  18. Dušan Svilar – Samo ne reci da voliš
  19. Srđan Lazić – Tražim te
  20. Julijana Vincan – Istina i laži
  21. Jelena Pajić – Pogledi
  22. Bojana Mašković – Dama
  23. Zoe kida – Bejbi
  24. Orkestar Aleksandra Sofronijevića – Anđele moj
  25. Sara Jo – Muškarčina (Zabranjeno voće)
  26. Mia – Blanko
  27. Zejna Murkić – Nema te
  28. Gramophonedzie – Počinjem da ludim
  29. Stefan Zdravković (Princ od Vranje) – Ljubi svog čoveka
  30. Zorja Pajić – Zorja
  31. Lift – Drama
  32. Konstrakta – Corpore sano
  33. Ivona Pantelić – Znam
  34. Rocher Etno Band – Hajde sad nek’ svak peva
  35. Ana Stanić – Put bez povratka
  36. Euterpa – Nedostaješ

The list includes multiple returnees including one former Eurovision entrant – Sara Jo, who represented Serbia in the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest as part of Moje 3, and various singers who have been to Eurovision as backing vocalists: Marko Nikolić (backing vocalist for Bojana Stamenov in 2015), Sanja Bogosavljević (backing vocalist for multiple Serbian entries, including the ones in 2007 and 2011), Jelena Pajić (backing vocalist for Montenegro in 2015), Ivana Vladović (backing vocalist for multiple entries, including Montenegro’s entry in 2015 and Serbia’s entry in 2019).

Other returnees are Dušan Svilar who finished in second place in 2013 with “Spas”, the runner-up of the 2020 Beovizija – Naiva, as well as Biber, Igor Simić, Srđan Lazić, Bojana Mašković, Zoe Kida, Lift and Rocher Etno Band. Goca Tržan was supposed to compete in 2008, but she withdrew in the last moment due to the illness of her husband, and her song was then performed by the composers of the song – the duo Zana.

The other 33 songs are going to be released in the coming days/weeks. The two semi finals are going to take place on the 3rd and 4th of March, whilst the Grand Final will take place on the 5th of March.
