Ukrainian broadcaster has received 284 entries from which they selected the long list out of 27 participants which will further be narrowed down once again until they get the 8 finalists of Vidbir which is scheduled to take place on 12th of February at 18:00 CET. The list of the final 8 acts is going to be revealed next week along with the running order and the names of the songs.

Because of the pandemic, the National Selection has not been held since 2020. Over this time, Ukrainian musicians have obviously accumulated energy and materials, so the number of good applications was very big! Still, there have not been many arguments among the organizing committee members up to this point, and the longlist was formed quite quickly. The fight is for the 8 positions in the final, so the hottest arguments are ahead!

Last year Go_A ended the contest on 5th place, being the runner up of the televote, scoring 364 points in the end “Shum” became the first-ever Ukrainian song to enter the Billboard charts.
