UMK 2022 after party cancelled!

Finnish broadcaster YLE has cancelled the UMK 2022 after party which was set to take place after their national final for the Eurovision Contest 2022.

In November it has been announced that a festivity which was planned to take place at Logomo in Turku right after the national final but YLE decided to cancel it. Despite the cancellation of the after party, Finnish broadcaster intends to have an audience present at the event, with the arena being sold out. However, the Finnish broadcaster guarantees that they are closely monitoring the health and safety guidelines released by the Government.

The 11th edition of Uuden Musiikin Kilpailu will be taking place on 26th of February, with seven competitors in the running to represent Finland at Eurovision 2022. Voting will be done by the Finnish audience – 75% and international jury 25%
