Viewing figures of Junior Eurovision 2021 have been revealed!

Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2021, took place on 19th of December and Armenia wont the show. It has been revealed that they will be the country to host this years edition of the contest. Today on the official Junior Eurovision Song Contest web page the viewing figures of the contest have been published. The show reached 33 million viewers, and recorded highest average viewing share since JESC 2011.

  • 4.5 million viewers watched of the event, including the Live Show on the official Junior Eurovision Song Contest YouTube Channel;

  • Average TV audience of 7.5 million watched the contest;
  • Poland had the biggest average TV audience for a third year in a row with 2.8 million viewers;
  • 11 out 14 markets recorded larger audiences than the ones normally received by their broadcaster in that slot.
  • In Armenia, average of 43% from all TV viewers watched JESC 2021 on AMPTV;
  • Even though not taking part in the show and just airing JESC for the first time , Iceland, recorded a share of 96%

Regarding the social media statistics they include the total of 8.3 million views on TikTok as well as 5.7 million video views and 23 million reactions on Instagram, in the period between 19th of November until 26th of December 2021.

2015 – Bulgaria: 2.7 million viewers
2014 – Malta: 3 million viewers

*In 2018 the EBU didn’t publish the viewing rates for the show. So the data provided here is provided from 10 of the 20 participating countries at JESC 2018 according to Eurofestivales.
