Wig Wam song is the opening theme of new TV series ‘Peacemaker’

The Norwegian rock band Wig Wam represented their country at the Eurovision Song Contest 2005 in Kyiv, with their song “In My Dreams”. They brought one of the most memorable performances of the year, which made them qualify from the semi-final to the grand final and in the end, they finished in 9th place with a total of 125 points.

In 2010, Wig Wam released the song “Do Yo Wanna Taste It”, which was a small hit in their country, peaking at number 11 in the Norwegian charts back in the day.

However, this particular song now became the official opening song of the new US American TV series ‘Peacemaker’ by HBO Max. The show aired on the 13th of January 2022 and is starring some very famous names. The main role and the title character, the Peacemaker, is portrayed by none other than John Cena, who is a former WWE champion and a world famous actor.

In the opening of the show, we see John Cena and some other actors of the show, dancing along to Wig Wam’s “Do Yo Wanna Taste It”. You can watch it right here:

Wig Wam brought rock to Eurovision long before Måneskin’s victory in 2021 and even one year before Lordi won with “Hard Rock Hallelujah” for Finland in 2006. You can re-watch Wig Wam’s Eurovision performance from the 2005 Grand Final in Kyiv right here:
