The semi-final of Latvia’s Supernova takes place this evening, and one of the front-runners for the competition, Aminata, has revealed on social media that she is unwell, in isolation, and unable to perform live in the studio.

Although she is unable to attend the studio, it seems that alternative arrangements are being made at pace to enable Aminata to remain in the competition via video.

A total of seventeen songs will perform in the semi-final, with the top ten making it through to the final. Aminata is currently leading our poll and is your favourite to qualify for the final. Should she be able to compete and make it through to the final, she remains positive about her chances of being out of isolation in time for the grand final next Saturday, 12th February.
