Dora 2022 will be held without audience!

In December out of 184 songs which were received for Dora 2022, pre-selection jury chose 14 songs which will go on to compete. Last March it has been revealed that Dora will remain in Opatija in the upcoming years and today they also signed an additional contract which is referring to the Tourist Organisation of city Opatija becoming one of the co-organisers of the show in the period of three years – to 2024. The 14 acts competing in Dora 2022 were revealed in December and the running order has been announced a week ago in the TV Show “Kod nas doma”. In addition to that the news so far include that all of the competing entries will be available nine days before Dora 2022 as well as who are the hosts of the show. A few days ago the voting system of the contest has been revealed. Dora is set to take place on 19th of February and today the voting system of the show has been revealed.

It has also been revealed what are the measures of prevention against Covid-19. Speaking of it on the official social media accounts of the festival, Croatian broadcaster has revealed that there won’t be audience at Dora 2022 (this happens for the second year in a row).

“Following your numerous inquiries about tickets for Dora 2022, unfortunately, given the current epidemiological measures, the competition will be held without the presence of the audience in the hall. However, we are still monitoring the situation and if headquarters decide otherwise, we will certainly share the information with you immediately.”

Ahead of the contest, this evening a warm up show which goes by the name “Zvoni Dora” will be giving the audience a chance to meet all of the contestants of Dora 2022 while they perform some of the biggest hits of the festival. “Zvoni Dora” will be streamed live with the beginning at 20.00 CET from the YouTube channel of Eurosong.hr
