Dutch Eurovision 2022 entry by S10 could be revealed on 3rd of March!

As both Shownieuws and songfestivalweblog.nl announce, we could be expecting the premiere of the Dutch entry for Eurovision Song Contest 2022 on Thursday, 3rd of March. This has yet to be confirmed by the Dutch broadcaster AVROTROS, but if we take in consideration the recent tradition of the dates when the song which represents The Netherlands at Eurovision Song Contest has been revealed the date totally fits.

All of their recent entries since 2016 were released in the first week of March with usual release on either 10th Wednesday or Thursday of the year (with the exception of 2016 as the day was Saturday). Slow Down by Douwe Bob was released on 5th of March 2016Lights and Shadows by OG3NE was released on 3rd of March 2017; Outlaw in ‘Em by Waylon has been confirmed on 2nd of March 2018; the winning entry of Eurovision 2019, Arcade by Duncan Laurence has been revealed on 7th of March 2019; and the two recent songs Grow and Birth Of A New Age by Jeangu Macroy have both been premiered on 4th of March 2020 & 2021.

The title of the song hasn’t been revealed yet but what we know so far is that this will be the first Dutch entry performed in Dutch language since 2010. The song could be showcased at Matthijsgaat Door that can be seen weekly on Saturday evening on NPO1

In charge of the selection of Dutch entry for Eurovision 2022 was a commission which consisted out of Dutch TV commentators Cornald Maas and Jan Smit as well as radio-DJs Coen Swijnenberg and Sander Lantinga. In December it has been confirmed that The Netherlands will be represented by S10 and a month ago we informed you about their creative team for Eurovision 2022 you can check it HERE  You can check a song “Adem Je In” by S10 below
