Eesti Laul – The first five Grand Finalists have been chosen!

After a fantastic show in Tallinn’s Saku Suurhall tonight, we now know half of the Grand Finalists for Eesti Laul 2022, which will be taking place on February 12th.

We were treated to 8 fantastic live performances, plus the music videos from Elysa and Merilin Mälk who unfortunately had tested positive for Covid-19 and were unable to attend in person. After all performances, the hosts announced that the four jury favorites were Ott Lepland, Merilin Mälk, Stig Rästa and Kaia-Liisa Kesler. However, this only represented 50% of the results. Once the televoting results have been added, the following 4 artists were confirmed as advancing to the final:

  • Ott Lepland – Aovalguses
  • Andrei Zevakin feat. Grete Paia – Mis nüüd saab
  • Elysa – Fire
  • Stig Rästa – Interstellar

The remaining six acts faced the second round of televoting, where the winner has also qualified for the final. The winner of the second round of televoting, and the last qualifier is:

  • Elina Nechayeva – Remedy
