The Portuguese broadcaster RTP just revealed the official running order for the two semi-finals of Festival da Canção 2022! The festival will be held in the usual format: two semi-finals with 10 songs each. Five entries from each semi-final will qualify to the grand final and the winner of the show will be the next Portuguese representative at the Eurovision Song Contest!

Semi-Final 1 is going to take place on March 5th 2022 at 22:00 CET and this is the running order:

The second semi-final will be held on the 7th of March at 22:00 CET with the following songs:

The grand final of Festival da Canção is set to take place on the 12th of March. At the Eurovision Song Contest 2022, Portugal has already been drawn to compete in the first semi-final, where they will perform in the second half of the show!

Last year, The Black Mamba won Festival da Canção and represented Portugal at the Eurovision Song Contest 2021 in Rotterdam. It was the first time in the history of the Eurovision Song Contest, that Portugal has sent an entry completely sung in English. It turned out to be quite succesful, since The Black Mamba qualified to the final in Rotterdam, where they finished in 12th place overall!
