It’s Emma Muscat for Malta!

Emma Muscat has won the final of Malta Eurovision Song Contest (MESC) 2022 and will represent Malta in Eurovision 2022 with her song Out of Sight. The final of Maltese national selection was held earlier, and 17 contestants took part in the show:

The winner was decided by a combined votes from the public and the professional jury. The jury members gave their votes first, and it was a clear victory for Emma Muscat, since she got the full 12 points from all six jury members. After the jury votes, top 5 was the following:

  1. Emma MuscatOut of Sight, 72 points
  2. AidanRitmu, 60 points
  3. Nicole AzzopartiInto the Fire, 31 points
  4. NorbertHow Special You Are, 30 points
  5. DeniseBoy, 28 points

Emma Muscat won also the public vote, and that made her a clear winner of the contest. After the public votes were added to the scoreboard, the final top 5 was the following:

  1. Emma MuscatOut of Sight, 92 points
  2. AidanRitmu, 72 points
  3. Nicole AzzopartiInto the Fire, 36 points
  4. NorbertHow Special You Are, 34 points
  5. DeniseBoy, 31 points
