It’s Emma Muscat for Malta!
Emma Muscat has won the final of Malta Eurovision Song Contest (MESC) 2022 and will represent Malta in Eurovision 2022 with her song Out of Sight. The final of Maltese national selection was held earlier, and 17 contestants took part in the show:

4. Giada – Revelación
5. Jessika – Kaleidoscope
6. Raquel – Over You
7. Nicole Hammett – A Lover’s Heart
8. Miriana Conte – Look What You’ve Done Now
9. Nicole Azzoparti – Into the Fire
10. Sarah Bonnici – Heaven
11. Enya Magri – Shame
12. Denise – Boy
13. Emma Muscat – Out of Sight
14. Janine Mangion – Army
15. Mark Anthony Bartolo – Serenity
16. Aidan – Ritmu
17. Richard Edwards – Hey Little
The winner was decided by a combined votes from the public and the professional jury. The jury members gave their votes first, and it was a clear victory for Emma Muscat, since she got the full 12 points from all six jury members. After the jury votes, top 5 was the following:
- Emma Muscat – Out of Sight, 72 points
- Aidan – Ritmu, 60 points
- Nicole Azzoparti – Into the Fire, 31 points
- Norbert – How Special You Are, 30 points
- Denise – Boy, 28 points
Emma Muscat won also the public vote, and that made her a clear winner of the contest. After the public votes were added to the scoreboard, the final top 5 was the following:
- Emma Muscat – Out of Sight, 92 points
- Aidan – Ritmu, 72 points
- Nicole Azzoparti – Into the Fire, 36 points
- Norbert – How Special You Are, 34 points
- Denise – Boy, 31 points
