Judah Gavra is always a ‘Dreamer’!

You probably remember Judah Gavra from his participations in the national finals of Israel (where he almost won, coming 2nd with ‘We’re Beautiful‘) and San Marino (in which he reached the final with ‘Stay‘) and most recently when he competed in the Kënga Magjike festival in Albania in 2019, where he reached the final as well, with ‘Me’Achshav‘. Next to that he could also be seen performing on world stages such as Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, the UN and further International Festivals.
Now Judah is back with a new release called ‘Dreamer’!

Judah has grown up in a religious and a very traditional family, which is where he got his love for Middle Eastern music and sounds from. The influence can be heard today as well, as Judah’s brand new song ‘Dreamer’ is a pop song, with a hint of Middle Eastern flare. In this song we can clearly hear Judah’s Yemen-Israeli roots.

The story behind the song is described as following:

‘Dreamer’ was written following Judah’s move to Mexico from New York City during the pandemic. He felt down and creatively depressed. Judah sings about the moment when you can’t find the energy to create and even worse, to dream. But just before you’re about to give up you find the dreamer in you.

Time now to close your eyes, and listen to ‘Dreamer’:

The composers of this song are Judah Gavra himself, together with Paz Pearl and it’s also Judah who wrote the lyrics for it. The production was subsquently done by Juan Elena.
