After a two-year gap, Iceland holds the first semi-final of the 9th edition of Söngvakeppnin, the show that will, on 12th March, find the decessor to 2020 champion and new worldwide superstar Daði Freyr.
Tonight’s show comes from RVK Studios in Reykjavík, and will be hosted by Björg Magnúsdóttir, Jón Jónsson and Ragnhildur Steinunn Jónsdóttir. The two finalists (and a potential wildcard decided next week) will be selected with 100% televoting.
The five songs performing tonight, in Icelandic, are:

- Haffi Haff – Gía
- Sigga, Beta & Elín – Með hækkandi sól
- Stefanía Svavarsdóttir – Hjartað mitt
- Stefán Óli – Ljósið
