Marvin Dietmann will be the artistic director for Israel at Eurovision 2022!

The Israeli broadcaster KAN has announced that Marvin Dietmann will be the artistic director of the Israeli performance at Eurovision Song Contest 2022. In addition to that news they also announced that the production of the music video for “I’M” are in full swing!

This will be the first time that the delegation has decided to go for a director which isn’t from Israel as previously the delegation was hiring solely Israeli artistic directors including: Tsadi Tsarfati, Yoav Tsafir, Moshe Kaftan and others. Recently Marvin was announced as the stage director for the Cypriot performance of Eurovision 2022, in addition to it he was member of the jury at Benidorm Fest. Chanel was crowned as the winner of it and will represent Spain at Eurovision 2022. At Eurovision Song Contest, Marvin Dietmann worked on the performances of Spain, Czech Republic, Cyprus, Croatia ,Bulgaria,Estonia and Austria. Prior to that Marvin was in charge of performances of Germany in 2017 and Bulgaria in 2011 as well as most of the Austrian acts starting from 2012.

Michael Ben David won X Factor Israel with his song “I’M” and he will represent Israel at Eurovision 2022, in the last couple of days there were some rumours which Israeli media reported that he will be giving up from the contest after the comments he received, but as the broadcaster confirmed the production of the official music video for “I’M” is in full swing and the rumours aren’t true.
