The first semi-final of Eesti Laul will be taking place tomorrow evening and ahead of it, ERR has revealed that Merilin Mälk , who should’ve performed her song “Little Girl” has tested positive for Covid-19.

She won’t be able to perform live in the semi-final, Merilin will remain in the competition and instead of her performance of “Little Girl”, the music video of it will be shown once again, previously it has been shown during the quarter-finals as the concept of those was to feature the music video of all competing entries, the semi-finals were the first time when artists were set to perform their entries live. Merilin isn’t the first artist who had tested positive as we previously wrote that Elysa got a positive test results too.

Of course, we will keep our fingers crossed that there will be no more such news, but we are prepared for the unexpected.
