Subwoolfer to perform for Norway in Turin!
After weeks of semifinals, a second chance and the big night, we’ve finally got to know who will wave the Norwegian flag in Turin! Subwoolfer has won MGP 2022 and will represent the Nordic country at the Eurovision Song Contest in May. They will perform the song “Give That Wolf A Banana”.

From all the finalists that performed at the show, five of them were direct qualifiers selected internally by NRK, while the other half were chosen from the semifinals held for four weeks. Also, an additional qualifier was selected from all the non-qualifiers of the semifinals after a second chance round. You can find the acts that competed at the Norwegian final below:

The final of MGP 2022 was made up of three different rounds in which the results were up to 100% public voting. In the first part of the show, all the candidates performed their songs live in front of a big audience. Then, the first voting decided the four acts that went through to the Gold Final:

- Elsie Bay – “Death Of Us”
- Subwoolfer – “Give That Wolf A Banana”
- NorthKid – “Someone”
After the second round of voting, the top two finalists advanced to the Gold Final, which decided the eventual winner of Melodi Grand Prix 2022:
