First Impressions Of Pongo and Tristany After Qualifying To The Final Of Festival Da Canção 2022!

The Grand Final of Portugal’s Festival da Canção is taking place this Saturday, where a total of 10 acts are going to compete in order to be the one to represent Portugal at the 2022 Eurovision Song Contest. Pongo & Tristany competed in the second semi-final with the song “Dégrá.dê” and succesfully qualified for Saturday’s Final.

ESCBubble’s Joe spoke to Pongo & Tristany right after the second semi-final and got their first impressions after they qualified for the Grand Final! Check out the full interview here:

I was first introduced to the Eurovision Song Contest at the age of 9, when that "Love Oh Love" song was a big hit in Austria. After watching my first contest, I was absolutely mesmerized by that beautiful event. I re-watched it a million times, started to look up older contests and within a few months I knew pretty much all the songs that ever participated.
Also, I'm probably the only Eurovision fan ever, whose favorite entry is Saskia and Serge's "Tijd" from 1971.
