Tonight, RÚV will hold the second semi-final of Söngvakeppnin 2022 and is therefore getting one step closer to find out the Icelandic act for the Eurovision Song Contest in Turin this year.
Five different acts will perform their songs live, each of them will sing the Icelandic version of their song tonight. The two most voted songs will advance to the final on March 12th. But the three acts, that don’t qualify tonight are not automatically out of the show. One of the six acts that didn’t advance from the two semi-finals, will get a wildcard for the final.
Tonight’s acts in running order are:
- Markéta Irglová – “Mögulegt”
- Suncity & Sanna – “Hækkum í botn”
- Reykjavíkurdætur – “Tökum af stað”
- Katla – “Þaðan af”
- Hanna Mia and The Astrotourists – “Séns með þér”
The results will be decided by televoting only. The show is beginning at 20:45 CET and you will be able to watch it through this link!
