Mia Dimšić hints new staging plans for Eurovision 2022!

On 19th of February the final of Croatian national selection for Eurovision 2022, Dora took place in Opatija. It featured 14 acts competing for a chance to represent the country and Mia Dimšić won the show with “Guilty Pleasure”. You can check our interview with her HERE.

In an interview for IN Magazin Mia Dimšić hinted her plans for the new staging at Eurovision Song Contest 2022.  “We’re doing everything from scratch, we weren’t sure about that from the beginning and that decision, created us more work, but it doesn’t matter, some creativity aspect will be there, everything will be totally different, and I think that will bring a new dimension to the song”, after being asked if she could reveal something concrete Mia told that she will no longer be wearing black for her performance. She also shortly reflected at the beginning of her career as well as her style. Then she was asked how did she react to many comments about her teeth because many , “I don’t like them, I don’t dislike them, I just don’t think about them at all. They are an unimportant aspect to me. The wrong thing is the phrasing which people had while they addressed that as they stated they would like to help me fix the problem which I have with my teeth, where do they see the problem as it’s not a problem to me and in case someone else feels like they have a problem with their body they could feel free to change what they don’t like about themselves but if they find a problem about me then I don’t think it has anything to do with me.” The last question was how does she react to the betting odds and she said she isn’t following them and the odds aren’t necessarily mean anything.

Mia will be performing in the second half of the first semi-final scheduled for 10th of May. You can check out the performance of “Guilty Pleasure” at Dora 2022 below

Serbian guy with Nordic soul and Japanese heart enrolled in Scandinavian studies. I like languages, flags, anime, coins, travelling, exploring foreign cultures art and Eurovision. First ESC related memory I have is watching the performance of Doris Dragović with Marija Magdalena back in 1999 when I was just 5. I started to watch Eurovision from the year 2003 and never missed a show since.
