Back in December Dutch broadcaster AVTOTROS has revealed that S10 will represent the Netherlands at the Eurovision Song Contest in Turin and that she will sing in Dutch. She revealed her Eurovision entry today – song is called ‘De Diepte‘ (in English, that would translate as “The depth”) and it’s the first song since 2010, when Sieneke performed ‘Ik ben verliefd (Sha-la-lie)’, which will be performed entirely in Dutch.

‘De Diepte’ was written by Arno Krabman and S10 herself, who also produced her own Eurovision entry. Give it a listen to ‘De Diepte’ right here:

On March 1, AVTOTROS teased the fans with the video teaser on their twitter profile, video shows Dutch representative raiding the fridge:

The days after, AVTOTROS published a video with former Eurovision participants, including Eurovision winner Duncan Laurence, exclusively listening to the song for the first time. Eurovision stars described the song as ‘good sad song in Dutch’, meanwhile Duncan Laurence reccomend it that people should “google the sh*t out of the lyrics” to make sure you understand them.
