This Is ESCBubble’s Winner Of Söngvakeppnin 2022!

Tonight the grand final of ‘Söngvakeppnin’ 2022 takes place in Iceland. The pre-selection for Turin will see the Nordic nation choose its entry to the Eurovision Song Contest in May. As with the semi-finals, Björg Magnúsdóttir, Jón Jónsson and Ragnhildur Steinunn Jónsdóttir will be on hosting duties, presiding over an event which will be coming live to you from RVK Studios in Reykjavík.

These songs will perform in the final evening in Iceland tonight:

One of these 5 acts will be the winner and therefore represent Iceland at the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 in Turin and we will, of course live blog the event for you again!

As you are used to it by now, we at ESCBubble also looked to find our own winner. 10 team members of ESCBubble and 1 special guest juror from OGAE Iceland voted by giving 4, 8 and 12 to their favorite three songs in the Icelandic national final.

Their results represent the 50% of our final result. The other 50% is coming from our poll, where all of our readers had a chance to vote for their favorite entry. In case of any ties, the song that scored more with our readers in the poll will have the advantage.

Check out the full voting right here, starting from 19.45 CET:
