Eurovillage and Euroclubs Announced!

Even more news is coming today about planned festivities around Turin for fans hoping to enjoy Eurovision 2022! On Thursday, Eurovision and RAI joint-released plans for the Eurovillage and Euroclubs, or this year, Euroclubs!

First, let’s look at the Eurovillage. We have known for a while this will be located in the east of the city, in Parco del Valentino along the Po River. The Eurovillage will open its doors at 17:00 CET on Saturday 7th May. The party will go on until the wee hours after the Grand Final on Saturday 14th May.

There will be over 40 hours of live music and performances spread out over the 8-night Eurovillage, with the exception of the nights of the two Semi Finals and Grand Final. Three large screens are being built in the park so fans can watch the shows live in a euphoric atmosphere!

Each non-Eurovision show night will feature a theme, following in the footsteps of Lisbon 2018 and Tel Aviv 2019:
  • Saturday 7th May: In The Name of Peace
  • Sunday 8th May: Civil Rights and the LGBTQ+ Community
  • Monday 9th May: Europe Day
  • Wednesday 11th May: Torino Calling Day
  • Friday 13th May: World Music
Some of the confirmed artists include Dub FX, Karma B, Melancholia, Motel Connection, The Sweet Life Society, and many, many more yet to be announced!

Concerning the Euroclub, Turin is not sticking with tradition. The decision has been made to have 10 host venues (including bars, restaurants, coffee shops, and markets). In the past, artists, delegations, accredited press, and fans were hosted in one stand-alone Euroclub in one venue.

In Turin, the 10 venues will offer Eurovision themed special events and gatherings from 30th April to 14th May. They will also provide a 10% discount to accredited badge holders. With approximately 500 accredited press heading to Turin, and space across the 10 locations for a minimum of 1,500 visitors, 2022’s Euroclub is clearly trying to get more fans involved, and spread Eurovision merriment across more of the city!
