Malik Harris is a singer, songwriter and rapper who will represent Germany at the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 with the song “Rockstars”.

Malik started releasing his own songs in 2018 and has already been very succesful throughout his career. He was the first German singer to be shown on the Times Sqaure in New York City, when his single “When We’ve Arrived” was released. In 2020, he released the song “Faith“, about the ‘Black Lives Matter’ movement and in 2021 he released his first album “Anonymous Colonist“.

On March 4th 2022, Malik Harris won ‘Germany 12 Points’, receiving the ticket to represent Germany at the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 in Turin.  We had the pleasure to meet Malik ahead of  Turin and he told us about his preparations for the show, his favorite songs in the competition and his thoughts on representing Germany.
