The Finnish broadcaster YLE has announced that Aksel Kankaanranta, the winner of UMK 2020 and the finalist of UMK 2021, will announce the points of the Finnish jury in the Grand Final of Eurovision 2022 next Saturday. According to YLE, Kankaanranta is very excited for his upcoming task:

It’s going to be so extremely exciting and wonderful! It is a huge pleasure and honour to give the Finnish votes in this year’s Eurovision and get to be our country’s Eurovision ambassador in this form now. 

Aksel Kankaanranta won UMK 2020 with his song Looking back, but unfortunately didn’t get to wave the Finnish flag in Eurovision, since the contest was cancelled due to covid-19 pandemic. Kankaanranta also took part in UMK 2021 with his song Hurt, finishing 5th. You can rewatch his beautiful winning performance from UMK 2020 here:
