Our final rehearsal of day two is from Rosa Linn of Armenia, taking to the stage for the first time to rehearse her entry ‘Snap’
And hello – we’re getting a constructed set today at last for an act to perform in, and this seems to explain why the decision was made to close the show with this song (lot’s of work behind the scenes for sure). ย The Armenian delegation told the EBU that Rosa will be in a ‘reinforced paper structure’ and we’re seeing a paper wall that has tearable post it notes which reveal a story throughout. Of course the guitar she’s been performing with at the pre-parties is also present.
In her press conference Rosa said her favourite thing about Italy is the red wine and would love it as a gift – a woman after my own heart! She said she started making music at 11 years old with no instruments, no resources and no connections. ย She was ready to give up many times in her life but she found it impossible to not continue as it was what she was meant to do, your dreams will not come true if you don’t believe in your dreams. ย Dream big!
