First Rehearsal: Azerbaijan π¦πΏ β Nadir Rustamli ‘Fade To Black’
Nadir Rustamli has travelled to Turin as well and had his first rehearsal on the Eurovision stage today! His song is ‘Fade to Black’! Let’s see what his performance says about that…
Well, his performance features steps that remind of stadium bleachers, very fitting when the PalaOlimpico is right next to the Juventus Stadium! Through special camera angles we follow both him and a contemporary dancers as they go though the song. At a certain point the bleachers part so the dancer and Nadir can face eachother.
In his press conference, Nadir shared that the staircase represents the concept of stepping from the past and moving forward. At the end of the staircase he faces his fears, insecurities and dark thoughts and fights them to overcome them.
