First Rehearsal: Ireland ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ช – Brooke Scullion ‘That’s Rich’

Kicking off Day 4 of the rehearsals is Brooke Scullion from Ireland! Dressed perfectly for the warm Italian weather, her ensemble includes hotpants and a chiffon overskirt, all in happy blue! You’ll see nice shots from high angles, which also give us the opportunity to see the graphics on the floor, which they’ve gone all out with in this entry. With her four dancers, Brooke gives us a performance full of fun.

In her press conference, Brooke spoke of the support she is receiving back home in Ireland, and how her local town are hosting a party on the Thursday (and hopefully the Saturday too!). She also shared that the song is not about money, but that the title ‘That’s Rich’ is in the context of an Irish saying about hypocrisy. It was the first song she ever wrote, and wrote it about five people, although she declined to reveal who they are, and the message is to not spend time and energy on people who don’t deserve it, and to spend it on yourself instead. She wants the audience to enjoy the fun staging, and to be amused by the lyrics and positive energy of the song.
