This afternoon, the Big 5 took to the stage at the Pala Olimpico for their first rehearsal.
Next up is the UK’s Sam Ryder with the song “Space Man”. Sam has his band on stage with him, as we have seen at the pre-parties, but that’s where the similarities end! He is on a plinth, surrounded by an ENORMOUS metal structure which is covered in LED lights and opens in 3 “wing” shapes, and there’s spotlights and atmosphere and …. frankly it looks bloody amazing! Sam himself is in a black flying suit, with trainers and has apparently changed the end of the song to something that the official blog calls “EPIC”
