One of the biggest bangers of this year’s contest is definitely the Austrian entry ‘Halo’, by Lum!x and Pia Maria. The Austrian entry has continued to grow in popularity across all digital platforms since Eurovision 2022. After achieving almost 15 million streams on Spotify, their record label Warner Music Austria announced some news earlier today: their song ‘Halo‘ went gold in Austria this month!

Lum!x and Pia Maria performed ‘Halo’ in Semi-Final 1. Unfortunately the duo didn’t qualify, finishing in just 15th place in their Semi-Final. Yet, their song has remained one of the hot favourites even after the competition. After Eurovision they both released new music – Lum!x released a follow up single ‘We Could Be Together‘, featuring Gabry Ponte (one of the songwriters of ‘Halo’ and former Eiffel 65 member) and French dance act, Daddy DJ.

Pia Maria released her very own single, called ‘I Know U Know’ in June, as well.
