Two artists from the Eurovision class of 2022 have come together to release a new single! Andromache, who represented Cyprus in Turin, has teamed up with Romania’s artist WRS, to release “If You Were Alone/Στα μάτια σου” [In Your Eyes].
Fans who follow the artists on social media might have known something was in the works when images and video of the pair in Greece started to appear on social media in the week leading up to the song’s release on Friday!
Andromache couldn’t contain her excitement on Instagram, writing in Greek:
When we met at the Eurovision rehearsals, he told me “I want to do a song together” and here we are a few days before the release! A wonderful person and artist!

WRS got Romania back to the Grand Final for the first time since 2017, finishing in 18th place with his Latin-inspired hit “Llámame“. Meanwhile Andromache was unable to get Cyprus to the Grand Final for what would have been Cyprus’ seventh consecutive appearance in the Final. “Ela“, an up-tempo ballad, came 12th in its Semi Final in Turin.
