Another milestone: Rosa Linn enters the Billboard Hot 100 with "Snap"

The unbelievable success of the Armenian Eurovision representative Rosa Linn with her song “Snap” continues! After a sped-up version of the latest Armenian Eurovision entry went viral on TikTok, the song has gained huge popularity all over the world. It has reached the charts in more than 30 different countries, even outside of Europe, reached the top 10 in the Austrian, Dutch, Swiss, Irish, Swedish and Norwegian charts and even peaked at number 1 in Belgium and in the UK Inide charts.

Earlier this month, we reported that Rosa signed a deal with the record label Columbia Records, which is one of the biggest music labels in the world that also features world stars like Adele, BTS or Harry Styles. A few days ago, “Snap” has reached 100 million streams on Spotify and is only the 10th Eurovision song of all time, to surpass that big number. Quickly afterwards, it also became the most streamed Eurovision song of 2022, surpassing the Italian entry “Brividi.

Rosa Linn has now entered the Billboard Hot 100 charts at number 97 in the United States of America. It is only the second Eurovision entry of the 21st century that has achieved this milestone, after Duncan Laurence’s “Arcade”, which won the Eurovision Song Contest in 2019 for the Netherlands.

Other Eurovision entries who have reached the same milestone in the past are worldwide hits like “Waterloo” by ABBA, “Nel blu dipinto di blu (Volare)” by Domenico Modugno or “Eres tú” by Mocedades.

Rosa Linn proved that you don’t need to win the Eurovision Song Contest, in order to make a big career out of it. We congratulate her on her huge, well-deserved milestone and hope to report more about her ongoing success soon!
