Portugal’s latest Eurovision entrant MARO is back with new music and has just released her sixth studio album with the title “can you see me?“.

The album features 14 different songs and is mostly in English but there is also one Portuguese song called “juro que vi flores“. MARO has held a Q&A round on her Instagram account, where she revealed that the album is dedicated to her grandfather and that she recorded it, while traveling all over Portugal with her best friend. Furthermore, she revealed that the title track “can you see me?” is her favorite song of the album. You can listen to the full album here!

MARO won this year’s edition of Festival da Canção with the song “Saudade Saudade“, receiving the 12 points from both the televoting and the juries and therefore winning the ticket to represent Portugal at the Eurovision Song Contest 2022. In Turin, she qualified to the Grand Final, where she finished in a tremendous fifth place with the European juries and in 9th place overall, making her one of the most succesful Portuguese entries in modern Eurovision history!
