Sanja, Ivana and Ksenija – we know them all as Hurricane, Serbian representatives both in 2020 and 2021 edition of Eurovision Song Contest. And after five years of a successful career, the girls are now ending their Hurricane journey.
Who didn’t dance to Hasta la Vista and Loco Loco? Sanja, Ivana and Ksenija, among the enourmous success in the region of the former Yugoslavia, received great amount of love among the Eurovision fans. Girls are now going in their own directions and finishing their Hurricane story. But also – that’s not the end of the fabulous group from Serbia, as they’re soon about to present new members of the band, who represented Serbia at 2021 Eurovision Song Contest in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. Here’s what they have to say:
It’s been 5 years – flying too fast, if you ask us. And we believe that it is not only our opinion but also the opinion of all of you. Each of us is special as an individual, but we were even more special as a whole. That whole thing worked perfectly together. But we were not alone in that story. In that case, we would first of all like to thank our producer Zoran Milinković, who founded the group and created the Hurricane brand that you all know about today. Also, a huge thank you to each member of our team as well as to all collaborators who participated in the creation of our music, videos and everything that connects us these 5 years. Dear fans, we owe you a special thank you. We remember that September 10th when Favorito came out, we were very excited, but we didn’t feel afraid, because why should we be afraid of something that is good. So it was. We enjoyed every moment and the success that followed, as we did with all of you. Every day you showered us with messages full of love, attention, compliments and support. And there were also gifts that arrived at our addresses. We are infinitely grateful to you for every sent word and feelings we had in communication with you. We may not know your individual names, but your love will never be forgotten. Thank you for writing a wonderful musical history together that we are all proud of.
Dear journalists and media houses, our mutual cooperation has been great since the first day. Thank you for your support and kind words. Regardless, that we will no longer be part of this team, we leave you the brand that we all built together. There are our younger successors Hurricane Junior as well as three new members who will be introduced to you soon. Take care of them and support them as you do us, we certainly will. And don’t forget one thing – it will calm you down, it certainly did for us – Good things never end. Hasta la vista!
