We have just got to know who will represent The Netherlands at Junior Eurovision! Luna has won Junior Songfestival 2022 and will wave the country’s flag on December 11th in Yerevan. She will perform the song ‘La Festa’ at Junior Eurovision.
Last year, AVROTROS started the search for the best voices for their national final Junior Songfestival 2022. Following the format of previous years, the broadcaster accepted applications and held different live auditions to select the best singers for the contest. Then, the winners of the auditions were given original songs and allocated into four separate acts, three groups and a solo one, for the final. After a few months of working on the staging and choreography, today they have performed their entry live for everyone to vote:
- I N F I N I T Y – “Never Ever”
- Mixed up – “It Doesn’t Matter”
- HIGH5 – “Because I Know”
- Luna – “La Festa”
A mix of public voting, professional adult jury and kids jury, made up of former Junior Songfestival entrants, has selected the winning act during a show that was hosted by the Dutch ESC 2021 entrant Stefania and the Dutch JESC 2019 entrant Matheu.
