The Rasmus: “We got a very special present from Kalush Orchestra recently”

Our Torino Throwback continues and Episode 4 of the series features Lauri Ylönen, frontman of The Rasmus, who represented Finland at the Eurovision Song Contest 2022. After two interviews, one ahead of the Finnish national final UMK, and another one ahead of Eurovision, as well as a meeting on the Turquoise Carpet, Lauri was so kind to return to ESCBubble to participate in our new format.

In our interview, he opened up about their Eurovision experience, the disappointment about their final result and reveals a special present that he received from the Ukrainian Eurovision winners, Kalush Orchestra!

We thank Lauri very much for participating in our series and hope to welcome him back on our page soon again!

The Rasmus won the Finnish national selection with the song “Jezebel” and therefore represented their country in Turin, where they ended up in 21st place in the Grand Final. You can re-live their final performance here!
