Spanish broadcaster RTVE has announced that Spain’s Eurovision 2022 representative Chanel Terrero Martínez, will sing “TOKE” in support of Spain’s World Cup apperance next month!
“TOKE” will be the official song to support la Roja, Spain’s football team, at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. The Spanish national team has only won the World Cup once (in 2010), and is hoping to add a second star to their jerseys this December.
In an interview on RTVE’s La 1 Thursday evening, Chanel broke the news and had this to say about the upcoming release of “TOKE”:
“I feel very identified with that team spirit, … so it is very nice to put a voice to the song of the National Team.”
About the song itself, Chanel added:
“It’s a song to get everyone singing, it’s a song to get everyone dancing … I think it will be a massive hit.”
