Serbian broadcaster RTS has revealed Katarina Savić as their representative at Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2022.
Katarina was selected through an open call where she applied with the song “Svet bez granica” (World Without Borders). She plays trombone and except that in her free time Katarina enjoys singing and ballet. Music and lyrics for “Svet bez granica” were written by Ivana Dragićević. Release date of the song hasn’t been precised at the time of writing. Junior Eurovision 2022 will take place on 11th of December at Karen Demirchyan complex in Yerevan, Armenia. Serbian audience can follow the show on RTS 2.
Last year, Serbia was represented by the duo Jovana & Dunja who performed the song “Oči deteta (Children’s Eyes)” they received 86 points which placed them as 13th. You can check out their performance below
The following 16 countries have confirmed their participation at this years edition of the show: Albania, Armenia, France, Georgia, Ireland, Italy, Kazakhstan, Malta, North Macedonia, Poland, Portugal, Serbia, Spain, The Netherlands, Ukraine and for the first time after 17 years United Kingdom.
