Listen to France’s Junior Eurovision 2022 entry “Oh Maman!”

Today France has revealed the singer and song that will travel to Yerevan in December. The 13 -year-old finalist of The Voice Kids 2020 Lissandro will perform the song “Oh Maman!” at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2022.

Lissandro talked about how he feels having been selected to represent France at the contest that his country hosted last year:

I am very proud and honoured to represent France with my song, from both the pop and rock universe at the same time that I have always loved!

And what a pride to be part of the wonderful Eurovision family. I will give my best to make France’s colours shine.’

Alexandra Redde-Amiel, head of the French delegation to Eurovision and director of variety, games and entertainment at France Télévisions said:

‘We are happy to welcome Lissandro in the big family of the Junior Eurovision. A young artist full of talent to defend the colours of France in Armenia.’

The song “Oh Maman!” has been composed by  Frédéric Château and Barbara Pravi, who was also behind the French entries in 2019 and the winning one in 2020, and represented France at Eurovision 2021. You can watch the official lyric video and listen to the song here.
