Here are the first 14 artists of Melodifestivalen 2023

Sweden’s Eurovision broadcaster SVT has revealed the news many Eurofans have been waiting for – the competing artists and song titles of Melodifestivalen 2023!

Today’s announcement unveiled half of the competing artists, those who will compete in the first two shows.

Heat 1 will take place on 4th February 2023 in Gothenburg at the Scandinavium and will feature these seven songs, in alphabetical order:

Victor Crone – “Diamonds”

Rejhan – “Haunted”

Loulou Lamotte – “Inga Sorger”

Eva Rydberg & Ewa Roos – “Länge Leve Livet”

Elov & Benny – “Raggen Går”

Tone Sekelius – “Rhythm Of My Show”

Jon Henrik Fjällgren, Arc North feat. Adam Woods – “Where You Are ”

 

One week later, Heat 2 sees Melfest move to Linköping’s Saab Arena on 11th February with this line-up:

Wiktoria – “All My Life (Where Have You Been)

Eden – “Comfortable”

Uje Brandelius – “Grytan”

THEOZ – “Mer Av Dig”

Maria Sur – “Never Give Up”

Tennessee Tears – “Now I Know”

Panetoz – “On My Way”

The Melfest team took to social media to reveal the first 14 artists of Sweden’s Class of 2023:

Farah Abadi and Jesper Rönndahl will host all six Melodifestivalen 2023 shows, as Sweden looks to find a successor to Cornelia Jakobs. “Hold Me Closer” won its Semi Final in Turin, and went on to finish 4th place overall.
