Today TG4 and GPB have premiered their songs for Junior Eurovision 2022. Both songs have been selected internally and will be performed by the winners of the talent shows held in both countries.

Sophie Lennon will perform “Solas”

Sophie Lennnon won the Irish national selection Junior Eurovision Éire last month, which featured a bunch of artists performing cover songs. The talent show lasted for six weeks and the final had three candidates competing for the ticket to Yerevan. “Solas” was composed by Jonas Gladnikoff, MaJiKer, Hannah Featherstone and Ken McHugh, and written by Niall Mooney, MaJiKer and Hannah Featherstone.

Mariam Bigvava will perform “I Believe”

Mariam Bigvava was selected to represent Georgia at Junior Eurovision 2022 from the talent show Ranina. The young performer will sing “I Believe” composed by Giorgi Kukhianidze with lyrics by Beni Kdagidze and Iru Khechanovi (member of Candy – JESC 2011 winner).
