Loreen to compete – Here are the 28 participants of Melodifestivalen 2023
Today the Swedish Eurovision broadcaster SVT revealed the full line-up for Melodifestivalen 2023. Yesterday, the first 14 artists were announced that will compete in Heats 1 and 2.
The participants of the third and fourth Heat were announced this morning by this year’s Melodifestivalen hosts Farah Abadi and Jesper Rönndahl.
Here are the final 14 artists of the third and fourth Heat, with their songs in alphabetical order:

Some big names were dropped in today’s announcement. Norwegian pop duo Marcus & Martinus will make their Melfest début in Heat 3, while Paul Rey returns for a third time. Then in Heat 4, Mariette will try to qualify to the Melodifestivalen final for the 5th time, and Eurovision 2012 winner Loreen is back at Melfest for the first time since 2017!

After the four Heats, a Semi-Final will take place on March 4th in Örnsköldsvik, and the Grand Final will be held on 11th March in Friends Arena in Stockholm, when Sweden will find its Eurovision representative for Liverpool 2023 and the succesor of Cornelia Jakobs.
