The 61st edition of Albania’s Festivali I Kenges finished just a few moments ago and we now know who will be representing Albania in Liverpool for the Eurovision Song Contest 2021.

A total of 21 acts competed in the contest, with the winner being determined by a jury of industry professionals, but this year for the very first time there was also an SMS vote to choose the Eurovision entrant!

The jury decided their top three as:

1. Elsa Lila – ‘Evita’

2. Albina & Familja Kelmendi – ‘Duje’

3. 2Farm – ‘Atomike’

It is the third time that Elsa Lila has been crowned as the winner of Festivali i Kenges, having also won in 1996 and 1997.

But from a Eurovision Song contest perspective, the decision was left to the public vote, and they chose Albina & Familja Kelmendi!
