BREAKING: Songs for Selecția Națională 2023 revealed – vote for YOUR favourites
In the last hour, TVR has released all the songs for Romania’s upcoming national final Selecția Națională 2023 on YouTube.
The twelve shortlisted acts for the show, who were selected from a list of 84 received through TVR’s open submissions process, were revealed on 17th December. The running order for the show, which will take place on 11th February 2023, was also released. This date is already being referred to as this year’s “Super Saturday”, given it will feature the culmination of at least six national finals, including Estonia’s Eesti Laul and Italy’s Sanremo, as well as Selecția Națională.
The acts, in running order, will be:
- Deiona – Call On Me
- Andrada Popa – No Time For Me
- Ocean Drive – Take You Home
- AMIA – Puppet
- Andrei Duţu – Statues
- Theodor Andrei – D.G.T. (Off and On)
- Steven Roho, Gabriella & Formaţia Albatros – Lele
- Aledaida – Bla Bla Bla
- Adriana Moraru – Faralaes
- Maryliss – Hai vino
- JaxMan – Bad&Cool
- Andreea D Folclor Orchestra – Periniţa mea
Last year, Selecția Națională featured 40 shortlisted songs, a preselection and two live shows, which eventually saw WRS crowned the winner with Llámame. He finished 18th in the Grand Final in Turin with 65 points, making it the first time Romania had qualified for four years.
