RTS received 200 songs for ‘Pesma za Evroviziju 23’

Serbia’s national broadcaster RTS has received a total of 200 songs (which is 50 songs more than 2022) for their national selection Pesma za Evroviziju 23. The Head of Entertainment of RTS, Mrs. Olivera Kovačević confirmed the news in the TV Show “Šarenica” earlier today.

Kovačević stated that the pre-selection jury has listened through all of the submitted songs, and have also selected all of the semi finalists of this national selection. All of the participants are going to be revealed in a few days’ time already – in early January, right after the holidays. The competition is going to take place in the RTS studio in Belgrade, with the two semi finals on the 1st and 2nd of March, whilst the Grand Final of Pesma za Evroviziju 23 is going to be held on the 4th.

Konstrakta won the first re-branded edition of Serbia’s national final earlier this year, and went on to represent her country in Turin. Her song “In Corpore Sano” finished in 5th place in the Grand Final, which is Serbia’s best result since 2012.
