Dolly Parton has released a new song, co-written by James Newman.
The song ‘Bets on us’, in collaboration with the musical trio Cheat Codes talks about Dolly finding love, as well as talking about how finding love can be like a gamble.
Writing about the new release on his Instagram page, James wrote:
I can’t quite believe I’m saying this but today a song I co wrote has been released with one of the greatest country artists of all time singing on it! @cleotighe_ and I went to Copenhagen to write country songs with @cutfather and @j_ubizz and this was the result. @cheatcodes did an amazing job getting it to the place it is now plus some amazing vocals and then the legend that is @dollyparton put her amazing vocal on it aswell. Today is one of those moments where you just have to stop and say “WOW”. Out now everywhere #BETSONUS.
