Loredana to sing ‘You Lift Me Up’ in the Final of Belgium’s Eurosong 2023!

The first preview show of this year’s edition of Belgium’s Eurosong finished moments ago. We had a chance to quickly meet all seven of this year’s finalists, and to find out more about one of them, as tonight was all about Loredana!

Apart from a chat about Loredana with the other acts and the host of the show, we were also shown multiple videos from Loredana’s music career, including a recording of a video of Loredana perfoming a song of Laura Pausini, when she was 15 years old. In the continuation of the show, Loredana performed her two songs “Dream In Colours” and “You Lift Me Up” in front of the other six competing acts – as shown in the recap video posted last month.

After both performances, the host had one-on-one chats with the six acts. The Starlings compared “Dream In Colours” to a Disney song, Hunter Falls stated that this song reminded him of Polina Gagarina’s “A Million Voices”, whilst Chérine just sang to it immediately. Most of the acts agreed though that the right choice for Loredana would be the song “You Lift Me Up”.

Loredana was presented an envelope with the title of the song her competition selected, and was happy with the selection. She said that she would love to bring a lot of energy to the Final on Saturday, that she agrees with her colleagues, and thus chooses “You Lift Me Up”.

In tomorrow’s show we are going to hear the two songs of Chérine, and one of the two songs of Hunter Falls.
