Måneskin to perform at Sanremo 2023

Earlier Friday, Amadeus, Sanremo 2023’s artistic director, hinted that he’d have big news to share in the evening on Rai News – and he wasn’t kidding! He let the cat out of the bag that the 2021 Festival’s winners Måneskin will be making an appearance on the third evening.

So on Thursday 9th February, Damiano David, Thomas Raggi, Victoria De Angelis, and Ethan Torchio will grace the stage of the Ariston Theatre for the third year in a row!

This Sanremo appearnce coincides with the release of their new album Rush, and just before the European leg of their Loud Kids World Tour kicks off later next month, including a concert on 25th February at the PalaAlpitour, venue of the 2022 Eurovision Song Contest.

The 73rd Festival di Sanremo will start in just over two weeks, on Tuesday 7th February and continue until one of five songs in the finalissima is crowned a winner, very late on the 5th night (Saturday the 11th).

At Sanremo 2022, Måneskin performed an emotional version of Coraline, to the delight of the audience. It remains to be seen what song(s) the band will choose for their 2023 appearance on the Ligurian coast.

Of course at Eurovision 2021, the Roman foursome won the Contest in Rotterdam with 524 points, leaving the two French-language songs that topped the jury vote to languish in 2nd and 3rd overall. They returned as guests to Eurovision 2022 in Turin where they preformed their single SUPERMODEL during the Grand Final.
