The first semi-final of the Estonian national final ‘Eesti Laul’ concluded just a few moments ago and we now know the first five acts who will progress to the final and continue their dream of representing Estonia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 in Liverpool.
A total of 10 songs competed in the semi final, and after the first round of voting, the top 4 were selected by a 50/50 combination of jury and televotes. Those four were (in no particular order):
- Andreas Poom
- Ollie
- Anett x Fredi
- Bedwetters
The remaining six acts then went into a further round of televoting to select one further act to advance to the final. That space went to Janek
The second semi final takes place on Saturday 14th January, after which we will know the full line up for the final which will be broadcast on 11th February from the Tondiraba Ice Hall in Tallinn.
