Misija Liverpool: Here’s how you can hear the Slovenian Eurovision entry before its release

In the last weeks of 2022, RTV Slovenija announced the news that Joker Out will represent Slovenia in Liverpool. The musical quintet announced at the press conference that their Eurovision song will be in Slovenian language, and the song will have its world premiere in the TV special Misija Liverpool, which will be broadcast on February 4th, at 8:00 PM on TV SLO 1. But if you want to hear the song before its release – read more below.

Joker Out is, as we speak, the most popular band in Slovenia, so heading to Liverpool was the logical choice for Slovenian national broadcaster. The band recorded their Eurovision entry in Hamburg, Germany, where they also recorded their English album. However, their Eurovision song will be in Slovenian and premiere on February 4th, while it is going to hit digital platforms a day later.

Ahead of the song announcement, RTV Slovenija will likely pre-record the TV special in advance, so they’re giving you this amazing opportunity to hear the Eurovision entry before everybody else:

On February 4th, we will present you the long-awaited song that @joker_out_official will represent us at the Eurovision Song Contest! If you want to hear the song a week before the others, sign up at 👉 ema@rtvslo.si and join us at the filming of the Misija Liverpool TV special, where you will be among the first to hear the song.

If you want to be a part of that exclusive filming – write an email to RTV Slovenija and be a part of Joker Out’s Eurovision journey.

Slovenia has only selected their entry internally once before – back in 2013 when Hannah Mancini was chosen to represent her country with “Straight Into Love”. Ana Soklič won EMA 2020 and was given the right to represent her country in 2021 as well.
