Songs competing in Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2023 to be released on the 19th of January!

The preselection jury of Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2023 has listened through all of the submitted songs, and selected the eight that will proceed to the televised Final. We can now confirm that these eight songs are going to be released in just over a week – on the 19th of January.

The Danish City Næstved in the region of Sjælland will be the official host for Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2023, as previously announced by DR. The final will be held in Arena Næstved on Saturday, the 11th of February 2023, where the winner is going to be selected by a public vote, in two voting rounds.

The girl group REDDI won last year’s edition of Dansk Melodi Grand Prix, and they went on to represent Denmark in Turin with the song “The Show”. Sadly, they did not manage to go further than the semi-finals, ending up 13th place out of 17 participants on the first night of the competition.
